Chelsea ease past Blackpool

All the goals came in the first half, as Salomon Kalou got the ball rolling in the second minute before Florent Malouda added two and Didier Drogba one.
Chelsea have made a habit of hitting opponents for six, seven or even eight, and fears of another lop-sided scoreline were increased after just 72 seconds when Branislav Ivanovic flicked on a Didier Drogba corner and the unmarked Kalou finished from close range.
It was two on 12 minutes when Drogba broke through the Blackpool back line, sprinted towards goal and squared unselfishly for Malouda who could hardly miss.
Ashley Cole found himself in acres of space every time he came forward down the left, and it was no surprise when a break by the full-back led to the third goal. Cole cut the ball back to Drogba, who turned at the edge of the box and his deflected shot beat Matt Gilks.
